Teen Animation Program 11/9 ONLY with Everett Oliver

Everett Oliver is one of the top animation VO coaches in the industry. His personal journey has taken him from the Big Apple as a kid to Georgia where he graduated from Clark Atlanta University, to Los Angeles, where he has been working in the Voice Over industry for over three decades. 

Everett has worked on hit animated primetime shows including: The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Men in Black, Jackie Chan Adventures, Hellboy, and X-men: Evolution, (just to name a few), and has worked with animaton industry titans such as Disney, Columbia Tri-Star, and Film Roman/Starz. One of the most valuable  experiences that Everett brings to the table is his time as a Booth-Director for AVO Talent, an LA based talen agency.

This course requires students to have an acting background, and possibly some improv skills, to allow them to be creative and imaginative with their animated characters. Each of the students will be given the opportunity to be their true , authentic selves, and to show off their Voice Acting Talent. Everett will be creating a safe space where actors can use personal experiences, be vulnerable, be confident, and act outside of their comfort zone to perform their assigned roles. Students will use new tools to allow their Voice Acting to make the words on the script pop off the page and come to life. This is not a class for just doing voices. I am looking to hear one's own truth being revealed through their performances. This is what Voice Acting is all about, finding one's true authenticity in each student. 

**PLEASE NOTE: All attendees must be in the 13-17 age range. The session will go from 9am-12pm, then we will break for lunch - which is provided. If your child has allergies, we need to know that in advance please. If you are opting out of the lunch part - then you must be there from 12-1pm to supervise your child and provide them with lunch. We will then resume from 1-4pm. All children must have transportation to and from the event. You must drop off and pick up your child on-time. We will also require a form that has emergency contact info on it that parents will be required to fill out before the event. 

 This program is a branch of MAVO2024 but does not include admission to any of the MAIN events taking place during the conference. It's a separate program.
